This is sort of an "about" page. It contains a fact about me (at varying degrees of interest) for each year of my life.

  1. I am a Leo, born in the year of the monkey.
  2. My favourite colour is and has always been red.
  3. I am the third of four children.
  4. I have never seen Titanic in full.
  5. I can recite all of Del Preston's speech from Wayne's World 2 by memory.
  6. I lived in 西葛西 (Nishi-Kasai) in Tokyo for my university year abroad.
  7. I have visual aphantasia, but auditory hyperphantasia.
  8. The longest I have gone without sleep is 60 hours.
  9. I performed my first two ear piercings with a safety pin.
  10. This is the year I lost my appendix.
  11. I have a grade 6 on piano, and a grade 4 on the guitar.
  12. I have been a Linux obsessive since 2010 (I don't use Arch, btw).
  13. This is the year I (alongside five classmates) won a school competition to go to Cape Canaveral and experience astronaut training.
  14. This is the year I went to my first concert (sans parents); it was Iron Maiden supported by Trivium.
  15. I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions.
  16. I cannot play Freebird.
  17. Cooking is my love language.
  18. This is the age I had my first child.
  19. I walked out of the first adult job I had after 11 months.
  20. I have visited three of the seven continents, and lived in two.
  21. My favourite movie is The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and I invariably cry every time I see it.
  22. I have eaten fugu and lived to tell the tale.
  23. My favourite Pokémon is Nidoqueen.
  24. I have performed on stage at Boomtown, twice, with Sir Curse.
  25. I was raised Catholic, and was confirmed on the sixth day of the sixth month of the sixth year of the millennium.
  26. I have had the same recurring nightmare since I was five, and it is as inexplicable now as it was then.
  27. I am in the music video for Anger Management by Random Hand (no I won't say where).
  28. I have a Master's degree in Linguistics and English Language Teaching, and received the highest grade in my cohort.
  29. I have six tattoos, and five piercings.
  30. My blood type is AB+.
  31. I have been on the NHS waiting list for gender affirming care since 10/10/2022.
  32. I can solve a Rubik's Cube, using the standard algorithms.
  33. I own six guitars, one mandolin, one violin, and one electric piano.
