Because of the appalling state of NHS trans healthcare in the UK, I am currently saving up to have bottom surgery privately. As a mum to three kids and a homeowner it's slow going; there are a huge number of competing priorities amidst a massive cost of living crisis. So I'm doing what hundreds and thousands of trans folks have done before me, and turning to the kindness of strangers on the Internet.
